Le Patio - Pau

We have lunch today in this restaurant. .. Very good reception... nice restaurant with quality and choice at the top... it was very good.. varied...

Called by for Lunch and had a very nice time. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, service, surroundings and value. We had the 3 courses which made desert somewhat of a struggle to get down. Unfortunately with all that said, I can only rate as ‘Average’ because the speed of refilling the empty dishes was slow and some of them, for example the Paella, was near empty when we arrived ~1.00 pm and was not re stocked. Similarly the ‘Meat dishes’ were also only replaced on an irregular basis, so the choices were limited. Okay, if we had been there at 12.00 we would have had a better selection, but if we had known that there would be limitations when arriving when we did, we would have perhaps gone elsewhere.However the Staff were pleasant and helpful, and all in all it will be well worth a return visit.

You really eat in a patio, so it feel kinda like in Spain with a couples of degrees fewer. The food is good, typical, and diversified.

We visited on a Sunday night and greatly enjoyed the seafood available. Lots of fresh shellfish. All very flavorful. Service was good, very friendly staff. Dining outside on the patio a plus. Without the seafood its probably only 4/5, but we feel our experience was worth the higher rating. Extremely good value for what was offered. Go early (8pm ish) to get the full offerings.We highly recommend Sunday dinner at Le Patio.

This restaurant has an all you can eat buffet menu. It was a really nice day, & normally we would have loved eating on 'The Patio' inder the large gleafy cover of the tree, but unfortunately there was a large party taking the space (showing how popular this place is).We"ve eaten here several times before, & the food is always good & plentiful. The buffet has a large number of spannish dished, all cooked using fresh local produce. There is a large choice of meat & fish dished, both hot & cold, and a very nice choice of salads. In the past, there has also been a nice choice of seafood, which I think has been moved to the premium sunday luch menu.the cost for a lunchtime is €13.90, & only goes up to €19.90 in the evening. The atmosphere is great & the staff really friendly, despite the large number of people eating there.Highly recommended given the quality, quantity & price
