We started with oysters from Coromandel, which was fresh absolutely beautiful. For the mains, we had the crispy duck leg confit herb crusted lamb racks. Both were exquisite in taste nicely plated. Crème brûlée as dessert was excellent as well. <br/ The 'Japanese Night ' was a buffet dinner with some unauthentic sushis non Japanese choices. It wasn 't very impressive, I must admit. <br/ (Food 4+/5; Service 5/5; Ambience 5/5) <br/ Visited on 1 2 September 2019
Service is 10/10. Friendly and very accomodating staff. Stayed the night at the resort, so we had breakfast, lunch and dinner at Miha. Dinner was the best!! We had the fish of day and the steak. It was cooked to perfection. Loved all the meals we had in general. Will definitely come back.
Quite simply one of the best meals I've ever had. So much so that we had three nights in town and ate here each night. Wonderful food plus attentive service. Highly, highly recommended. Particularly recommend the beef, the apple tart, and the puka passion cocktail!
We ate at Miha Restaurant on a Saturday night recently as part of a deal voucher package. <br/ <br/ We found the atmosphere, level of service and quality of food excellent. The staff were welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious and was serviced in a timely manner.<br/ <br/ Overall we had a great dining experience.
First all the ambience here in winter was lovely, I really like how they’ve separated the two dining spaces to make the restaurant more intimate and lend an air of exclusivity to the second space. I would absolutely recommend this venue for an event such as wedding, birthday etc. Staff is attentive and yet approachable and friendly manner they exact kind of staff you would expect at a resort such as this. Greetings are a given and they are naturally hospitable in nature. The menu is small I would say and the food that came out was good but not great. I really think at a resort the goal for the business should be to make the guests not want to leave to go anywhere else during their stay for things the resort can provide. I can appreciate a small menu when the food that comes out is superb. Also possibly smaller menu means less wasted food which I am in favour of. I regret not trying their desserts as I feel they may excel in that
