Feedback gevenI have eaten a tagliata (meet) very very hard like leather. The see antipasti was lacking in quality. At the end we pay a lot, for place that i will not recommend to any of my friends. There is several better places in Pavia. This restaurant is not a nice example of Italian food quality.
Fine dinner at the end of day with colleague of mine. I had nice pizza and he eat very nice branzino in forno! Very friendly and nice staff.
We got the recommendations from the owner, Pasquale, for an a fantastic fish dinner, never even opened the menu. He is neopolitan and knows good fish. The pasta is my favorite we had paccheri with tomatoes and shellfish. I really liked the cold octopus and potato salad, and the little onion rolls made out of pizza dough that they give you to start out are addictive. Finally, we had a mixed fried fish plate (one to share because we were so stuffed! and it was very good and not heavy. It has a lot of different fish so if you prefer to not eat little bones and heads you can also just get the fired calamari. We didn't try the pizza if you come here I really recommend going for the seafood, it's their strong point!
I have been there very recently with a collegue. It has been a tasteful experience. We had soutè with cozze e vongole and Ombrina has entreè. All the food and service was good. I 'll be there again
Tutto eccellente, dall'antipasto al dolce:Il pesce era fresco e il vino all'altezza.Abbiamo ordinato crudite', paella e dolci fatti in casa e non ci ha deluso nulla.Una menzione speciale va alla panna cotta con cioccolato fondente e peperoncino: di solito si parla di salse ma in questo caso il cioccolato era dentro la panna cotta, realmente fatta in casa.Aggiungo, da parte del mio compagno, che il pesce spada affumicato era eccezionale.Il conto finale lo abbiamo trovato più che onesto in rapporto alla qualità del cibo, del servizio e della cortesia che abbiamo trovato.Torneremo sicuramente.
