I was enchanted by the good reviews and fraudulent pictures, but the food we received looked all out when he knew. the food tasted good, but it is not something I would ever recommend or get back. we ordered the hash stack and the crabcake benedict. I also got grapefruit juice, which was a very coarse brown color and very bitter (I white grapefruit juice is sour, but that was bitter). the hash stack looked very good on the picture in the menu and should contain hash browns, touch, sausage, gravy, speck and cheese. the one we received had no hash-browns, but had large potato tubers, which I think they should resemble the in-house, but were nothing like any house-ride I've ever had. the hash stack also had no sausages, a large piece of ice that was not clogged, and tiny bacon bits like the kind they buy in food stores to top salads. very misleading advertising and when we asked our waitress about it, she simply said how they always do it. the crabcake benedikt was best and at worst unstoppable. I really really really like crabcake and eier benedict is consistently my favorite breakfast, so I was excited. I was seriously disappointed. the crumb cake was muddy and fishy and the egg was over poched. there was hardly a rustling egg in the ice. our commands should come with sides of zimt whirled and fresh fruit with an English muffin. First, our waitress forgetted to bring her (which is completely in order, she said she was new and we were not angry at all), so I had to find her and tell her about our seemingly wrong order and missing pages, to which she was not very friendly or accommodating and followed that she was short with us. it finally brought out our side dishes, but the cimt vortex toast looked nothing like the photos on the menu and was actually their standard zimt rosinentoast from the food business. the obstbecher was a tiny dish like most restaurants would use for dressings or an additional side of cheese. overall we were disappointed and frustrated.
We really enjoyed our meals. I had a crabcake blt on sourdough bread, and the speck was cooked directly, nicely thick cut crispy, but not overcooked, and they can not go wrong with the homefries, baby red! yummy! my son had a huge fresh Belgian waffle with butter, whistle and whistle. the service was excellent, restaurant is very clean, and the prices are great (in which all 3 are difficult to find since the pandemic). we will be back and recommend it to friends and family.
Applewood house of pancakes on ocean highway in pawley’s island is a great place to go for all the delicious breakfast and more. the personal here is very friendly and ensures that they have everything they need for the best meal. good experience every time I'm here.

OMG!!! I went to this restaurant because a friend recommended it. I got there at exactly 1:00 p.m. The bar was almost empty and whatever was there to eat was ice cold, it lack taste. The pancakes and French toast felt like cardboard. The eggs benedict well what can I say about that, terrible comes to mind. I paid almost $17 dollars plus tip and I walked out of there with the intention of never go back and zero recommendations to my friends.
