Jon G's Barbecue - Peachland

This barbecue is the best we have eaten! The Mac and cheese is incredibly delicious. The baked beans are really good. It 's a small place and you do wait in line to place an order. But it 's worth every minute. The food and the people who make and serve the food are very nice people. They were the ones taking the orders and packing the food in the containers. The most polite people you will ever meet. Even the grandpa at the door was a delight to talk to. He told us the story of how they got started. Wonderful food and wonderful people. Just go and stand in line. You can get it as 'take out ' or sit and eat outside at picnic tables or eat inside in a tiny 5 booths/table top. Only opened on Saturday for a few hours in Peachland. 11:00-4:00.

I’ll start by saying I’ve never liked brisket until now! Everything was DELICIOUS. Everyone was very friendly. I so wish I could’ve tried the burnt ends but they were out. You can tell that people who run this business have a real passion and care about the food and service they provide.

Amazing BBQ!!! Best brisket and pulled pork hands down. Enjoyed this great BBQ at an ALS event and I can't say enough about how great the food and owners are! Many thanks!

I cannot rave enough about this place. The wait is worth it! The 6 of us ordered almost everything, burnt ends, brisket, turkey, ribs, pork belly, both cheer wine and jalapeño sausage….Mac n cheese, grits, beans, potato salad… it was difficult to choose a favorite! All six of us have leftovers for days!!I will definitely be back, the owner and staff are amazing, incredibly friendly and upbeat! This is truly a gem. Don’t walk. RUN, to Jon G’s on Saturdays. Be there early!

Underwhelming and average at best. We waited in line for 4 hours to only try the queso and cheerwine sausage. Someone came through the line to let everyone know they were out of brisket, which we appreciate, and took down what everyone wanted. We were told they would still have pulled pork and turkey. The sausage was good, 3.5-4 out of 5. Potato salad lacked flavor. Coleslaw was good. Grits lacked flavor and were greasy. Fruit crunch was also good. Their house bbq sauce was good. Not worth an hour wait in my opinion, much less 4 hours.
