City Sweets - Peachtree City

I went to City Sweets today to have an edible image printed. Unfortunately, the product had a black line through the image that was not acceptable. The owner, Karol, explained that the line was due to the ink jet printer they used. I asked her to reprint the picture, and after some hesitation, she reprinted it on the same page, partially covering the original image. This made the picture unusable. Karol refused to print another copy for me and offered to sell it to me for $5.00 (the original price was $10.00). I was not willing to pay for a product that was not acceptable. When I tried to discuss the issue with her, she walked away. I told her that I hope she does not treat all her paying customers like this. I will never use this service again.

I ordered a cake for my daughter and her three friends' combined party. The decorator completely messed up the cake by making it all white and boring, despite our request for a blue Ombre cake. We went to pick it up on the day of the party and were shocked by the chaos. The decorator was very rude and careless, handling the cakes roughly and not offering any sort of discount. Despite giving them a lot of business by returning and placing a cupcake order, I deeply regret that the cake not only ruined my daughter's party, but also the parties of three others. My daughter was in tears and the decorator didn't even apologize, just asked if we had paid before leaving. The service was extremely rude and the work quality was subpar. I do not recommend this place at all.

I ordered a cake for myself and three friends to celebrate our graduation party. We had agreed on a blue Ombre cake to represent our college, but when I went to pick it up on the day of the party, it was completely white and looked like it had been made by a child. The baker was not there when I arrived, and when she finally showed up, I told her it was not what I had ordered. She apologized and explained that she had forgotten to follow the instructions. She offered to add some blue coloring, but it was not enough to fix the cake. When it came time to pay, she did not offer me a discount and instead suggested I should not take the cake, even though I had already paid half of the total amount. She claimed she had warned me that a blue cake would stain our mouths, but I would never have agreed to a completely white cake. In the end, she only charged me $10 for the Ombre cake, which did not make up for the disappointment of receiving a plain cake for our celebration. The baker became defensive and rude, refusing to apologize for the mistake. I had been a loyal customer, ordering cupcakes and other items from her in the past, but her poor customer service and subpar work have made me reconsider returning to her bakery in the future.

I wish I could give zero stars, but we ordered a big cake for my sister's graduation party and gave them so much business every time I left! we wanted a blue Ombré cake they couldn't do so that they made it white. Okay, I get it, but then it was full white, it looked like a high-time cake. then we told her to add something that represented gsu (blue), added blue folds and then when it came to blue icing, she said that it would make the munde blue, but she did not tell us that when we ordered it. they yelled at us so much and said to have come to parents. but elders have a life also they work! and the elders agreed to the design of the cake and that is it! Now all 4 graduates have not the cake they wanted, and it will feel like a high time. my sister wept and all she did was $10 away she was just worried about her other high-time order, but not for the $450 order for graduates this is a big thing, as this cake is not worth the 450 more of $200! and who cares about elders who come mother was always on the phone when we came to bakery they were practically elders. never do business again! much fun!

I have lived in the area my entire life and never known about this place. it is totally amazing!!! it was my daughter’s 16th birthday and she wanted a fondant cake. I had no idea of what to ask for but the ladies quickly helped me decide and I ordered cake. I wasn’t sure how it would taste but I knew it would look beautiful. much to my surprise it looked beautiful and tasted amazing. we hardly had any left at the end of the party!!! They have cake pops and delicious cupcakes I highly highly recommend giving this place a chance. I will go back for all of my future events!!!!
