Ryan's Family Steak House - Pearl

I took my family to this restaurant on Sunday 4-20-08 to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday, we were a party of six at first and then someone else joined us later. The young lady that was the cashier acted as if she didn't want to be there, bad vibe, once we were seated, the waiter forgot to bring all of our drinks. There was not any bread and when I inquired to the manager, he told me that the truck was late and that I could look back there and sees the person making them now. He offered no apology, just said that the cashier should have told us when we came, the restaurant was not clean, dishes stayed on our table most of the time we were there. The waiter had too many table and we had to keep asking for refills. Service was poor. Food was not up to par, I have been to Ryan's many times before, but this time the food was not good as in the past. They were sending employees home because they said it was slow, but it seem to me that the restaurant was nearly full, therefore I guess that is why the food was not quality as usual. I feel that when you are spending nearly $100.00 for food you should be able to enjoy it. I don't think I will be returning to that Ryan's again.

We found the service excellent and the steaks were tender and tasty. I requested no salt added to my dinner and that request was honored. I've found that with some restaurants that's not always the case.
