My wife is Japanese and says that her ramen is the closest taste of the ramen she ate in Japan while she grew up. We tried the Waimalu shop yesterday and the ruts were not good. The cook diluted the broth with too much water and the bean sprouts and meat were both cooked and not stir fried. The taste was completely watery with not much taste. It tasted more like Pho than Ramen. I think the cook must be trained as preparing the right Ezogiku recipe. We look forward to the reopening of the shop at its new location.
What can I say, unlike the food is amazing, customer service can not beat, and all for the best prices on the island. Very recommended. Hidden treasure.
I have the Charsiu-Ramen combo. Only about 3-4 minutes to complete my order and as my hotel was on the next block, the roasted rice, gyoza and ramen were hotly pierced. The charsiu had FIVE pretty thick slices of meat, more than any other ramen joint has ever given me. The charsiu had great taste and no big fats. Unfortunately, this raven place is a bit hard to find BUT it worth it! Will definitely be back at my next visit to Oahu with my friends.
Delicious robbers! The noodles are perfectly cooked. Service was good, our meal came fast, we were satisfied with everything.
The service has great customer service, quick to bring out orders, and food quality a winner, price is good too when on budget and looking g to fill up.
