Feedback gevenHotel Review: Disappointing Experience I recently stayed a Fairfield Inn& Suites, Durham Southpoint] and was quite disappointed with my experience. Despite paying $195.00 per night, the hotel felt very outdated and in dire need of renovations. The decor and furnishings seemed to be stuck in the past, which made the overall atmosphere feel neglected. The most troubling aspect was the persistent moldy smell throughout the hotel, including in my room. This made my stay uncomfortable and unpleasant. For the price I paid, I expected a much higher standard of cleanliness and upkeep. I would not recommend staying here until significant improvements are made. There are better options available for the same price or even less.
The lining on my bed didn’t smell as fresh as I thought it should. The breakfast choices could have been better. But all staff that I interacted with were very polite and friendly. The location for me was great, it was 15 minutes from where I had appointments. There’s a mall very close by and a wonderful fast food spot that’s available, right outside the hotel.
Nicest Fairfield Inn I’ve stayed at. Open atrium with fountain. Great staff.
Open foyer type layout. Means LOUD place. In my king single has a very tiny bathroom. Tubs not showers. Plenty of black hair in the sink. (I'm red head) and you get to play whats that stain. Staff was very friendly though
Very nice and polite woman at check in. Room had sticky floors in bathroom and entry. Found crusty brown/red stain on sheets. Discovered they billed me twice when I got home. Called to inquire about this and the person said they would call back with info in 15 minutes. Never heard from them. Disputing through credit card.
