The steamed pork dumplings are on par with those I’ve had in Chinatown, and their egg rolls are impressively large, freshly made, and free of excess grease. For entrees, I enjoyed the House Special Egg Foo Young, which was light and fluffy rather than soggy, which can often happen with this dish. The sauce isn’t the thick, gloopy brown mess you might expect; instead, it’s a bright ginger-garlic-based brown sauce that perfectly complements the omelet. I also tried the shrimp in chili sauce, the pork with black bean sauce, and the orange beef special – all of which were delicious! The service can be a bit slow since the owner is often managing everything alone, but it’s definitely worth the wait. I can’t wait to try my way through the entire menu!
I love everything about this place! The dumplings are fresh, not frozen, and perfectly fried. The handmade Sweatersuppe dumplings are light and delicious. It's primarily a takeout spot, but the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is a true hidden gem and definitely worth a visit!
A charming, peaceful restaurant offering excellent cuisine. It's like a hidden gem in a quaint little town.
