L'authentique - Peillon

Very good time spent in this establishment. We took a short walk on the ridges then went down to have lunch at the restaurant and we were very well received despite our walking outfits. We had all 3 dishes and enjoyed ourselves and there was just a little taste of too little. This is a very good address. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

The venue is delightful, sitting on the terrace with lovely views can't be beaten. The food is ambitious but somehow each course misses the mark. As an example, rack of lamb requested medium arrived very rare with the fat barely rendered. The Fig desert, a very strange concoction. Service was slow but acceptable and no more than pleasant. I first had the pleasure of staying and dining at Auberge de la Madone in Peillon in August, 1985!! I am looking forward to returning in May, 2024 to dine there with my family. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
