I order the same drink at every SB I go to. (6 espresso shots poured over ice in a Trenta cup and topped with heavy cream) Today the drive thru guy told me they can't put the cold coffee espresso shots over ice in a Trenta cup, only a venta cup. I advised that I have ordered this drink for the past 4 years and even had it at the Pekin store. He proceeded to tell me there isn't a button for that. (I thought SB was about getting the $8 coffee made how I wanted, not about having to push a button). Get to the window and he proceeded to prove his statement even after I told him I wasn't interested in discussing it. He just kept talking about how there isn't a button to push for that drink andI how he had to do extra work to modify it. Then I get my drink and its 2/3 empty. (For my $8 drink) went to Lincoln SB and got my drink with no problems. I stopped in at Bloomington last Monday and had this drink. So not only was I treated rude, I didn't get my drink that I paid for and I had to deal with an argumentative guy and wait till I got to Lincoln to get my correct coffee. Ugh!
Great customer service even when the app doesn't send the correct way you ordered something and doesn't give you the discount you've applied.
I visit the pekin store every day. The baristas always go out of their way to perfect my coffee! I appreciate them more than they know.
We drove by it I guess that means we went there but neither of us will spend that kind of money on a cup of coffee
