Hook Reel Cajun Seafood

If you like the overwhelming smell of hookah and crab then this is the place for you. I love the other hook and reel location I am a regular but this location is not for me. It is definitely a vibe but I come here to eat and I don't want to smell hookah the whole time.. although our waitress was super nice and even reheated our food for us when we asked, I am literally nauseous.

Don't bother going for lunch, no one will even acknowledge that you're there. Won't attempt returning again.

The calamari was top tier. Our waiter was sooo nice and the drinks honeyyyy bomb!!!!! I will for sure come back!!!

Went on a Friday night and the DJ was beyond amazing, food was good and drinks on point. Will be back if that's what Fridays are gonna be like. Definitely a vibe

If you like seafood this is the place for you! Our group had one seafood eater but we still decided to go because they have chicken. It's a nice big restaurant with plenty of shaded outdoor seating area. The breeze flows thru and makes it a nice area to sit. Once summer hits that may change. We ordered the boil with 1/2 lb of shrimp, 1/2 lb of crawfish and 1/2 lb of mussels. It comes with a potato and a boiled egg. Once they waiter brings it he gives it a shake to mix the seasonings before it's placed on the table. We also ordered a chicken tender basket with fries and some bbq wings. Appetizers were mozzarella sticks. The food comes out hot. The wings were good and so were the tenders. My one complaint: mozzarella sticks looked a little pale. Maybe a minute longer in the fryer for a little more color but that's a preference. Dessert was a slice of chocolate mouse cake which was just perfect. Not overly sweet or chocolaty. And everyone gets free ice cream. Think back to the plastic cups with the wooden spoon that you could get from the ic cream truck just like those with a plastic spoon. Vanilla or Strawberry are the choices and both were good
