Great food and environment. the food was well prepared and delicious. the service was excellent. they always try to satisfy the client. in the future.

A disappointment our group said we should eat in their restaurant and have seen some reviews that I was looking forward to our meal. the meal was pre-ordered over 10 days before our booking. all simple dishes that are cooked in a lot. traditional dishes. When we arrived in her restaurant, I found that we had to wait. their tables were full and there was a series of sitting released. it is now the situation so that we have waited patiently. even if the place was busy service was slow, we were not visited and one of our group tried to put us on free places. that was not possible yet. I could see that the people who were only sitting had no single head. only 2 male server try to serve a complete restaurant on a Saturday night. this is not possible to have happy clients. distancing is particularly difficult for large groups. the room can have been right before anyone who sat down, but all the diners were close to each other. we finally sat without conversation or confirmation from the male server. he was more on a perfect place paper. the tavle was sprayed off and 2 of the chairs were omitted 2. we got a bottle of water and finally asked about our net. first cure for our table of 4. was mysterious suppe. what was at the temperature tepid. the server placed it on each of our settings without explanation. for a pre-ordered meal. cold suppe is an insult for her customer. this should be served easily at a correct temperature. it was without taste, without salt or otherwise did not describe and had a taste of pork fat. So if they were unhappy with their eating, it was not possible to change or talk. after a long wait 2 of our table we are served with their teller for the main. ofen prepared and our other 2 had a 45-minute waiting for their main. again a full of prepared dishes. in fact arroz de pato., with melted cheese, an ingredient that is not known to accompany a classic Portuguese court. I've been reviewing many traditional Portuguese recipes since then and no show the court with cheese or say it would be a regional supplement. we were all surprised and disappointed by all the experience. as a complete cook and with years of experience trading with the hospitality and have supported many new start-ups, I am shocked that this service is acceptable and still. a pre-ordered dinner of both courses is a simple portion and eating should be more or less perfect at the right dining temperatures without waiting for service and being able to eat well. disappointed is a huge underground and an insult to its customers and future customers. the restaurant has very appealing cosmetic decoration and tables and chairs. it has space for good service also in these restricted times. I would say not be deceived by that look when the meal and experience was terrible. I would like to praise in general, but they motivated me to write this assessment as a future warning to other potential diners. I hope that this is a free evening, as their previous assessments do not reflect this latest appalling experience. good ****

In any case it is worth going! the selection had to be made when opening the menu, and that was not easy to go. many thanks to our waiter who was just perfect when he translated everything we wanted to know. eating from starters until desserts was. an explosion. thanks!

Very well priced varied menu. Something for everyone all delicious and good value for money. Close to Pena Hotel

Cheguei ao restaurante para jantar às 21:10, ambiente agradável (apesar do calor)! O atendimento é simpático mas inexperiente. Pedi uma espetada de polvo e gambas. O meu pedido só chegou às 22h e a espetada tinha duas gambas e polvo vinha um pouco queimado. Os legumes que acompanhavam estavam bons. Pedi a conta e estavam a cobrar-me mais 1€ pela espetada face ao preço que vinha na carta , reclamei e corrigiram. Paguei 16,30€ (água, azeitonas, espetada e café) Enfim, é segunda-feira e a maioria dos restaurantes de Penafiel estão fechados foi a alternativa encontrada.
