Wonderful little cafe with specials that change from day to day and a fixed menu. Loved the vegan satay and the vegan Nyonya Nasi Lemak. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Creative desserts. Nice atmosphere
Last Visit: August 2017 Had the Pesto Pasta and Teriyaki Mushroom Burger (RM13.90 each). Both were tasty, but burger with sides were not very substantial. The mushroom patty itself was good, well-seasoned and good textures. Still, it would have been nice if there was more toppings in the burger. The food was not overpriced, but quality could be slightly better (with better quality ingredients) for the price. For that, Janxden is average as an overall. I've tried their porridge and soup pastas via delivery before too, and they were quite good. That said, I would recommend Janxden for vegetarians who want a place that offers a variety of western and asian food options at average café food prices. Comfort food (soups and porridge) are good choices here. Ambience is casual and chill. Service is ok. Parking is convenient, with space for parking in front of Janxden. We've been here today for a lunch and really enjoyed the place itself, its food (including their JandXen rice, vegan fish, soya yogurt), and its deaf waiter who is super nice, attentive and enthusiastic. Menu has a lot of useful signs (milk/eggs/vegan/spicy). Products in their small shop are nice and reasonably priced. Since it's next to local Buddhist association, nuns are really coming here to eat. All the best to all these people!
Convenient location. I love the colour of their food. Cheesecake can be a bit too small. But baked pasta/rice their Basil spaghetti is very yummy. Carbonara Penne was very yummy too.
