Courts - Penarth

The dishes are breathtaking. the building itself is beautiful and the lush but tasteful decor complements it perfectly. everything was big and bold and stylish. the music was great, bolder and louder than most restaurants, but it simply works. I love being there! eating and drinking is also good. the only disappointment is the very limited menu if they are not a carnivore. a veggie court and a fish dish is not enough choice in these days. yet the mood and the beauty will regain us.

Disappointment, booked for 4 and initially the lady reception was very friendly leading us to our table. we waited 15 minutes to be served, I asked for a big glass wine, 3 koks and gave our lunch order. it was the Sunday lunch card that was placed our table with wine glasses, our starter came before our drinks. no water offered me to ask when they supplied the drinks, they did not take away the 4 unwanted glasses and my wee came as a small measure. I had to take the glasses from the table so that they served the Sunday dinner that came 30 minutes after the starter. No sign of a clearing of the table and I asked the bill of 3 employees. Finally, the bill we were separated that they were totally confused and there was an 11 pfund service fee that I asked to be removed as the service was not what we expected. none of us really enjoyed lunch and will not come back because the experience in our opinion was quite stressful. beautiful decoration inside and so a candy.

A beautiful experience overall. croquettes, beef ragu haupts and desserts excellent. lobster cocktail star subdue and overpriced. a bizarre music choice for a restaurant was a dj playing electronic dance music that was quite loud. not after our taste, but that could be our age!

Amazing eating and personal, beautiful interior and exterior design and is definitely worth waiting!

This was my first visit to Courts restaurant and I found the music to be a bit loud, although that could just have been because it was Friday evening and they were catering to the young crowd. The food was very tasty but a little cold. I had the pork belly and found one small wedge of potato, which, if it was meant to be on there (not entirely sure) was a bit stingey. The staff were very pleasant and attentive.
