Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Pendelton

Another fast food spot that is different from the normal chains. They were open on new years day but with a 25 minute wait for some burgers. The burgers were good with substantial toppings on them, and seemed like ingredients were fresh. Inside dining was closed so ate on the road but it would have been nice to sit inside for a break. Decent prices for the size of the burgers.

I had an excellent experience at Dickey's. The owner was very kind and accommodating. The food was very good. I recomend this restaurant.Kid-friendliness: My grandkids love the kid meals at Dickey's. We like to order from them often.

Stopped in on our way to WA. Amazing staff, the owner helped us and he was so kind and friendly. All the staff was so friendly. Food was delicious! We found out the owner was from our home state of NM and that was a fun coincidence. We will definitely stop here every time we travel to WA. Was in on Halloween night. Not busy at all. I was the only one in there. Ordered a 3 meat plate and a brisket sandwich plate. The guy's hair was long and hanging down around his face, not even in a pony tail or hair net when he scooped out the Potatoes and the green beans. It was gross watching him get the food with his hair hanging down like it was. I get home, no bbq sauce, no pickles, no onions and a hair was in my potatoes. The meat was way overdone and dry. I have had Dickeys before in California and it was delicious. The Pendleton, OR Dickeys meal was disgusting.

Customer service was fast and kind. Food was delicious! I will be back. :
