Blue Heron - Pendleton

I won't be returning to this restaurant. I ordered the fried calamari, and it was served cold! The drinks weren't even refilled. It felt like a waste of nearly $30 for just a small piece of fish. The portion sizes are very small for the price. The service was also slow. The restaurant has two areas: a section for reserved tables and a bar area for walk-ins. Unfortunately, we were seated on the bar side.

What a wonderful local restaurant! We arrived early on a Friday night to secure a table. The food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed calamari, seafood pasta, and a grouper sandwich. The pasta was especially outstanding, featuring mussels, scallops, shrimp, and more, all served over angel hair pasta with a lovely red sauce and generously topped with freshly grated cheeses. The service was exceptional as well.

5 stars for sure! This restaurant is fantastic! One side has a casual vibe, while the other features a white tablecloth setting. We decided to sit at the bar. For our appetizers, we enjoyed the lobster bisque and scallops alongside delicious bread with flavored butter. Everything was incredible! For dinner, my husband had the seafood pasta, and I opted for the beef stroganoff. We can't wait to return! The service, ambiance, and food were all exceptional. We drove almost an hour to get here, and we’re already looking forward to coming back! Be sure to check them out — you won't regret it! The salmon dishes we saw also looked amazing! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had the two specials and they were phenomenal! Excellent presentation and a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely come back when we get out of the state.

Timmy was absolutely amazing. He was everything you would come to expect from a restaurant like this. Best duck breast we have had in years. Perfectly cooked and flavorful. The hanger steak with blackened shrimp was also amazing. Definitely a great place to enjoy family, friends, and great food.
