Winking Lizard Tavern - Peninsula

I have been here with my boyfriend Kevin twice, thus far, both times were very enjoyable and the food was delicious. (also the company, love you baby) I would recommend it to everyone. The area is fantastic as well, due to the small shops park like setting.

We have been coming here for almost a decade. Love the location in the valley. Server was extraordinary. Unfortunately the food has been slipping the last couple years. My wings were not near as good as normal. Small and barely any sauce. Asked for more sauce and was charged. The beer was past its best buy date. Popcorn was awesome as always.

Very disappointed in the wings. In the past the wings have been dripping in sauce. This time, the wings were nearly bare with some sauce. In the picture we tried adding the BBQ sauce from the table, but it was not the right flavor. When we asked our waitress we were told we could buy more sauce... Since they inventory the sauce in the kitchen she was not allowed to give us more without charging us. I paid $18 for a 20 pack of boneless wings, and you would expect them to be covered in sauce! We won 't be back.

A wonderful restaurant. Lots of ambiance including a live iguana! I had grilled BBQ chicken dinner that was delicious! Moist and tender and the sauce was really good. Located near a national park store. Go visit if open. Historiv train depot near this location as well.

We found this place starving after a long hike in the area. We were quickly seated and greeted by our server Danielle C. less than a minute later. The food we ordered was sandwiches and salads which hit the spot. Throughout our visit Danielle C. was very attentive and gave great menu suggestions, which we appreciated. The road parking can be a little discouraging (no fault of the restaurant) but its worth it to enjoy such a good meal and great service.
