Feedback gevenWe came here to celebrate a family birthday, and it is a great place to celebrate! Chef Frank made the experience 5-star for our family. He was very cautious of a seafood allergy at our table which made us all feel very comfortable. The food is rather expensive for the portions provided, but for dining in, you are getting a whole experience. Things have definitely changed since before, they no longer do the polaroid photos or some of the tricks. Although our chef may have skipped the shrimp tricks due to the aforementioned allergy. I would have loved to give 5 stars but our waiter was not properly trained and other staff was constantly telling us he was doing something wrong. I wish the team had stepped up to improve our experience rather than bag on our server. The chef was the only one to step up and help him out at all. We got a take out order for a family member in the hospital, it came with no soup, no salad, no shrimp appetizer, fewer vegetables than we got at the table and the hostess wanted to charge us for sauce, luckily a manager stepped in as we had paid for the whole meal. Vegetarian options: There is a tofu option, but it comes with the shrimp appetizer so be clear if you don’t want it. There is no substitute for the shrimp so you will be paying for it even if you don’t eat it. The chef did ask if I was comfortable with my tofu being cooked on the same surface as meat/seafood— I am comfortable with it, so I’m not sure what the alternative is.
On my 31st birthday, I spent time with my husband and met another fantastic couple. Our chef, Frank, was excellent, and after a long wait, it was worth it.
Frank was excellent and entertaining! He made sure we all got what we ordered and talked to us the whole time!
My family and I had a lovely time. Our server was very nice. We had 10 people at the table and as you can imagine that is not an easy task to deal with but she handled it very well. Our chef Frank was hilarious and witty. The cook on the meat and vegetables was amazing. So grateful for his cooking and hosting skill.
Chef Kareem and Server Jenny were the absolute best. Thank you to both of them for making our visit unforgettable.
