Howtown Tea Room - Penrith

The sandwiches may feel a bit dated, but if you're just looking for a quick stop during your walk, you could do a lot worse. The service is friendly and prompt, and there’s a nice selection of drinks, sandwich fillings, and desserts. While I personally wouldn’t travel far to come here, it’s conveniently located along a popular hiking route and near a ferry, so I wouldn't discourage others from stopping by.

This is a great little sandwich spot located in a remote area. It has a cozy atmosphere, making it a nice place to relax. They also offer free Wi-Fi, which is really helpful since mobile service around here is quite poor.

The best carrot cake I have ever tasted—absolutely amazing! The setting is beautiful as well.

A beautiful place we had coffee and cake after a long walk the staff was very friendly.

Really lovely tea room. Excellent light lunch. Great ambience. Very clean all round.
