My school team traveled to Pensacola for a leadership retreat. We went to Broussard's and the service was not the best. We didn't feel welcomed in the restaurant at all. There was only one person working at the time. The environment did not feel safe for persons of color.
I'm from New Orleans, so I'm pretty picky about my Cajun food. I had the unique experience to try LITERALLY EVERYTHING ON THE MENU! I photographed the Grub Hub menu and was sent home with ALL OF IT! Of course, it was a lot more food than I expected when we made the deal. Even with my whole family, we had leftovers for days. Some standouts were the shell and eat shrimp (perfect seasoned), all gumbos and red beans and rice were great, the fried seafood was perfect and the etouffe was also really good! All black and grilled fish were also really tasteful. For deserts the Key Limecake was our favorite! My only negative review, would be for the roast beef poboy bc I used to the New Orleans style debris, boiled in it's own Gravy, so this was not my favorite. This restaurant is a definite must try!
Absolutely delicious. Juicy, tender, and meaty. Laid back atmosphere. They have a little market inside where you can get stuff. My best friend tried the Cajun seafood gumbo and didn’t like it as much but everything else we ordered was so well done and delicious! Went back again the very next day. The food is filling and satisfying and doesn’t leave you feeling heavy. Highly recommend
I really enjoyed visiting Broussard's. Our waiter, Sean, provided fantastic service especially dealing with understaffing issues. The food was also amazing. The Cajun potato salad tasted just like my mom makes! The chicken and andouille gumbo and the jalapeno cornbread were also delicious! Overall, a great experience and I would definitely come back again!
