So Chopped Salad - Pensacola

I absolutely love the salad from SoChopped (the Bodacious Olive), but having only one register open in a busy downtown area is just crazy. I tried to be patient when three blonde women cut in front of me in line, but they took their time, each paying separately while the cashier flirted with them, which only made things worse. They really need to open another register—that’s all I have to say!

Today, 9.10.2020, my daughter ordered a Cesar salad with grilled chicken, no croutons to go. The person making her salad said they didn?t have romaine. My daughter said the spring mix would be fine. When she arrived home, she had no chicken and croutons.She called and they said they?d have a manager call back. We waited an hour, no one called so we called back. We began to tellour story about no grilled chicken and they hung up on us. I would truly like a phone call or a response to this review. I knowthe Studer family would be disappointed in the customer service we received at their restaurant.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and I really don’t want to complain because 95% of the time, the salad I create is just perfect. However, the new staff seems to lack the enthusiasm of the original team, who really knew how to get things right. The dressing I receive is often bland and not well mixed, so I mostly end up with just the oil on top. It's starting to frustrate me. I always ask for the dressing to be shaken extra well to ensure the flavors are mixed, but it doesn't always happen. This makes me feel disappointed and a bit upset, especially considering how pricey these salads are.

After finally getting through to the restuarant, I greeted with, Hello. What do you want? Confused as to thinking this was a restuarant or a buddy that owes me money. After getting my order in over him yelling at people in the background and hardlylistening, he tells me 10 minutes. Cool, I 'm on the way now. After picking up the salads and returning home, me and my pregnantwife find out that her order is completely wrong. Pregnant women cant have certain things like soft cheese. I asked for nogorgonzola and to sub it with cheddar. The only cheese on the salad is gorgonzola. None of the add ins were there, nothing. Nota place I would go to again if I want two salads for $30

When I arrived at the restaurant, I was unsure how to pick up my carryout order. I noticed a pickup sign but received no assistance, so I ended up waiting in a long line with other customers placing orders. Eventually, I learned that I could have gone straight to the register instead. Clearer signage or instructions for carryout orders would have saved me about 15 minutes of waiting. Nobody addressed me during the five minutes I stood confused at the pickup sign, which really highlighted the lack of customer service. While the salad itself was decent, I found quite a few wilted pieces that didn’t seem fresh. Overall, I'm not sure I’d return. There are plenty of places where I can get a good salad with much better customer service.
