Sumo Sushi - Pensacola

I was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was very good and very fresh. I got a to go order and the wait was a little longer than I expected, but it was worth it! Will definitely be back again. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. After I ordered I started reading reviews and saw a recent negative review about the shrimp tempura roll, which I ordered. I started getting a little nervous, but it was the best shrimp tempura roll I've ever eaten.

Probably the best Spicy Tuna Roll I've ever had. It was legitimately spicy unlike 90 percent of sushi places. The atmosphere is great in the very small, personal dining area. Prices are beyond reasonable as well. I will be back fasho.

This place is awesome quite hidden place. We been here forever . They changed the ownership but I would love to try different things and new things. Now the food is best of best in town. Totally upgraded. Fish is so fresh I can tell. I think real sushi chef working in this kitchen. That Baked lobster roll oh my god so yummy. The service was great. I would love to give 200 star for this place.

Loved it!!! Great service, AMAZING sushi. Prices are a little higher than I'm used to however definitely worth it as the rolls were far larger than your standard rolls, even the nigiri had fairly large pads of rice and big fat chunks of fish. Definitely will go again.

The new establishment is welcoming, knowledgeable, and skilled. I had the Hawaiian Poke Bowl for lunch, which was visually appealing, delicious, and filling. It was also very reasonably priced. My friend tried the Volcano Roll, which looked equally impressive. I highly recommend stopping by to meet the new owner. I’ll definitely be returning!
