We also ordered the fried oysters; they were crispy, although we wished they were fried a bit longer. The hush puppies were golden brown and had a subtle hint of sweetness. For dessert, we enjoyed the crème brûlée, which had a delightful crunchy sugar glaze on top of the smooth pudding. The waitress was very friendly, and the food arrived quickly. The view is stunning, and the atmosphere is a stylish yet laid-back.
This is an excellent seafood restaurant with an extensive menu featuring a variety of fresh seafood options. The gumbo, Caesar salad, shrimp and grits, fried shrimp, and crab cake sandwich were all outstanding. The key lime pie for dessert was fantastic, and the cheesecake was also delicious. While the portions are on the pricier side, they are generous, allowing for leftovers to take home. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Additionally, there’s a charming gift shop next door offering cute shirts, jewelry, and a great selection of cookbooks.
The view was fantastic, situated by the water with a view of the bridge. There was plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to protect you from the Florida sun. The service was good and quite attentive, and the food was excellent. The wings and shrimp cocktail were outstanding! The pot stickers were also delicious.
Sat at bar great service amazing food! Best crab cake I ever had was not overly breaded. Bar tender friendly and helpful with local recommendation.
This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we had an exceptional experience. We began with some appetizers: Fried grouper bites, Fried green tomatoes, Soul rolls, and Smokey Alabama wings—all of which were delicious, with the Alabama wings being the clear standout and a favorite among our group! For our main courses, we enjoyed Gumbo, Shrimp and Grits a Ya Ya, Pecan-crusted catfish meunière, Sundried tomato alfredo, Barracks street burger, and Grilled salmon. Everything was fantastic, but the Shrimp and Grits a Ya Ya was my absolute favorite! I'm so glad I took the waiter's recommendation. The ambiance was delightful, and the service was both attentive and friendly for our group of six. This is definitely a spot we'll be visiting again in the future. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a great meal in Pensacola!
