V. Paul's - Pensacola

A friend and I went to V Paul's for dinner for the first time and it was amazing. The menu had a great variety. The only thing missing was the crab cake they serve during lunch. I tried the stuffed chicken and it was truly delicious. It was enough for two, so the leftovers were taken home for a second meal. I highly recommend VPaul's for dinner.

Very satisfied with the variety of available items on menu. The items I enjoyed were not only of good taste but also a quality in appearance. I look forward to my next visit.

Great selection of wines and specials. Had a couple of apps and two glasses of house wine. Really yummy and great value.

Good food but slow service. Although the restaurant only had half of their tables filled, we waited forever for our appetizers, and hours for our main dishes. The waitress did not offer bread while we waited for our appetizers, but brought the bread after we finished both of our appetizers (at which point we no longer wanted bread). Looking around at the surrounding tables, others seemed to be experiencing the same wait time. I think I'll give the restaurant time to work on improving their service before going back.

Atmosphere was less than intimate with an open layout, white walls, and a tv at the bar. Wait staff was bustling and helpful but detracted from the formal feel that the menu and pricing seemed to encourage. Food was excellent. Plenty of subtle and smooth flavors with delicious accents. We had a reservation and did not wait to be seated. Our food came almost too quickly... Our appetizers were barely out when the mains arrived. The menu included a large wine list and wine pairing suggestions. May return for a less formal dining experience.
