No mistake, it is a modernized, sharp-looking version of the diners from the 50s. The dining rooms in the complex are much cleaner without over the cutter of memorabilia paraphernalia throughout. Even with fewer customers can be sure that Elvis, Marilyn, Jimmie Dean were in the house. The three of us ordered 2X Liver Onions Fried Chicken with two sides. We all had coffee with our meals. Felt right at home eating house style cooking. The prices were reasonable. The food was abundant and delicious. Service was excellent. Fortunately, we met Wayne, the owner, with whom we took a photo to highlight our culinary experience. Trust that my friend Wayne's Family Diner is often protected.
This is a MUST visit . I had the catfish basket with three sides for 11.99 and it was a ton of great food for the money. My son had chicken and dumplings with two sides and he loved it. The hushpuppies are out of this world, literally the best anywhere. The place is gorgeous and I took a pic of women's restroom because I have never seen that clean of a restroom in a restaurant. Please stop in because this place is great but especially during Covid when it is important to keep these kinds of businesses going!
Omg this food is gud see that's wat it need love an the cook an the lady who took my order was very professional with me I will always go back the owner there he are nice I like that type of vibe when I go into a restaurant so I'll be your favorite customer will return back I had ordered country fried steak with mashed potatoes kind of thing and a cake I had to get back on here and post that the price I don't even worry about that because they are professional when you come down to customer love the manager like to cook love the waitress
I had the Welsnuggets (10/10) and the Shrimp Basket (9/10) along with Baked Beans (9/10), Coleslaw (8/10), Hush Puppies (10/10), and Fritten (8/10). The Hush Puppies were the best I've ever had, the catfish was fresh, and the shrimp was delicious. The only downside? I'm disappointed I couldn't try dessert because the meal was so filling! Seriously, no kidding about that.
I had a fantastic experience with the homemade food at this restaurant. I enjoyed the fried pork chop served with green beans, potatoes and gravy, along with some delicious maize bread. It was truly delightful. The two waitresses were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure I had everything I needed. This diner came highly recommended, and I'm so glad I decided to give it a try!
