Lachi Indian Restaurant - Penticton

I would definitely recommend trying this place for lunch. For $10 you get Chicken or Beef Vindaloo (or butter chicken etc) with salad, amazing naan, and rice.

The food varied surprisingly. Naan, one of the easier things to get right, was heavy and even a bit soggy. But the palak paneer I ordered was absolutely delicious. We also thought the spicing was perfect (not 'tourist' style). Our waiter was helpful (he recommended the palak paneer) and while the room is nothing special and could do with some sprucing up, this was a very comfortable place and good value.

This restaurant has some of the best service and food that I have had. The spice level in various dishes range from 1 - 5 ( you are asked how spicy do you want - something that I have never been asked before). The quantity is pretty good! Tried lamb rogan josh, chicken vindaloo, chicken briyani, and chilli chicken and kulfi. Loved eachband every dish!! A must go to for all the food lovers that want to try authentic east Indian food!!

Best Indian food we have ever had The service is amazing. Price is fair. The only thing I would recommend is to stay open later then 8pm

This is a small restaurant but with big flavors in their food...it's not a fancy place but then for a quick lunch (great specials) it's perfect. They even have a students special i believe when school is in session. The price is right, the food is great and friendly staff. I recommend this place for low key reasonably priced Good Food!!
