The Longboat Inn - Penzance

I and my husband visited here when they had a vegan menu. We ordered the vegan curry. It took a long time to come, and when it did, it was basically some simple rice and the “curs” was just some kidney beans and cannelini beans in a spicy sauce. For £11.95 I expected a lot more! Nice try to have a vegan menu, but make a little more effort guys.

Very friendly staff, quick service. Happy to check that everything is vegan (like free cookies). Delicious food, reasonable prices. Free Wi-Fi. Dog-friendly. Clean toilets. Hot-desk facility.

The staff was great!!! And the place was sweet. Unfortunately, the Burger we ordered was very average and overpriced. It was a fairly oily patty, no sauce or vegan cheese in the burger so easy salad and tomatoes. Very bland unfortunately we put the pickles in and added ketchup, but still, not worth the price tag.

I appreciate the effort to offer a vegan menu, but they could put in a little more thought and creativity.
