My daughter, who is not a big meat eater, really enjoyed the lamb chops and lamb kabobs, as well as the salad. I personally enjoyed the lentil soup and salad. It is evident that this is a family-owned establishment, which adds to the cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a great experience at a local family-run restaurant.
Sometimes, the simplest things can turn out to be the best. Take, for example, falafel - a humble dish made from garbanzo beans, parsley, and a variety of other ingredients. While it is easy to make, not everyone can make it well. When Mr. G. asked me how I discovered his restaurant, I mentioned that my friends had talked about Kebab-G as a nearby landmark and I had never been there before. To my surprise, he insisted on giving me some falafel on my first visit. It turned out to be an unexpectedly delightful experience, as I savored the deliciously crispy exterior and the soft interior of the falafel. I am looking forward to trying more of Mr. G's falafels and other tasty dishes in the future.
The food at this restaurant is always delicious! The beef shawarma is excellent and the rice is wonderful. The salad is also tasty and the hummus is a favorite of mine.
If you are looking for authentic Middle East food, here is the place. Pay attention to details, great taste and hospitality. The yogurt is authentically sour Middle Eastern. I feel that food is made at home, not restaurant. Very recommended. Note: I drove 80 miles a way to try it with my family, it will do absolutely again!.
Picked up grape leaves and hummus for lunch to go and loved so much I went back the next evening for dinner! Added combination kabobs and they were simply delicious. Service is fast and friendly!
