Een restaurant met een fantastisch uitzicht, goede professionele dienst en goed eten. We waren zeer aangenaam verrast toen we op het terras vertrokken, wat een uitzicht! Natuurlijk beïnvloed door de zonsondergang, maar toch. Ik kan niets anders dan professioneel zeggen. Met aandacht, zal je worden ontvangen en gediend. Ondanks de taalbarrière die probeert. We felt very welcome into what felt like a local family restaurant. Our cheese course, entrees, and wine were all delicious served up by friendly and attentive servers. What a relaxing evening!
We drove up to the restaurant and were pleased to find a big parking lot and beautiful Tuscan view off the balcony. We had made arrangements to sit outside. Then the slow service began as we waited 15 to 20 minutes just to receive menus and order water, which took another 20 to 25 minutes to arrive on a very hot summer evening. The waitress serving our table was walking around with a dreadful look on her face and speaking to us in a low voice that made us all think she is simply miserable. No surprise, we thought, that it took so long just to get water. We were already aggravated before even looking at the menu. We had a large party of 13 people and everyone ordered different things a few just pizza, others an appetizer and secondo, others an appetizer and a primo and finally my husband and I the 3 course tasting menu. We realize that can be complicated to manage with the timing and we tried to be patient and give the staff a chance. But after 2 hours my husband and I had only been served our appetizers and the third crew had not yet received their entrees. The primo and secondo came out at the same time for some but the secondo came out way after the appetizers and primo for others. Food delivery timing was all over the place. When the last secondo meals finally came out we just then received our pici pasta (which tasted bad . That's when we all got very upset. Did we just wait 2 hours for bad pasta? And we now have to wait what, another hour, for our entree? Since I spoke the most Italian of our group I tried to go inside to speak to a manager about how it is now 10:15 PM (we arrived at 7 and we don't feel like eating our pork this late and would like it removed from the bill. My ask was met with the chef yelling at me that the food is home made and takes time. I was trying to explain that the service was slow from the beginning with water taking so long and that we simply don't want to wait any longer. He apologized about water taking long and then the head waitress came over shouting at me that food takes time and each course takes an hour and that the restaurant is busy what do we expect. Oh wow, I have never been yelled at before by a restaurant staff. (Looking online now it seems the chef and head waitress may be the owners and married. It was degrading, embarrassing and made me so upset I could barely eat when the waitress shouted at me that my pork was now on the table waiting for me. They never apologized for the slow food service, just the water. They never offered to provide a discount on the expensive bill or to throw in the water or any part of the meal. Clearly the attitude of this owner is not that the customer is always right. I was blamed for them being busy and not being able to manage the food flow. And to top it off they took another half hour to get us the bill. I was so upset by all the conflict and yelling I had to leave the restaurant while my husband paid by the bill. Never have I ever been treated so badly. If this rating were just on the food I would have given 4 stars as everything I ate was good except for the pici pasta but the service was unbearable. Do not go here with a large group. They simply cannot handle it and shout at the customer when you raise the issue of slow service.
Beautifully laid out food. Lots of drink options too. Desserts were out of masterchef! Only issue were the bugs and flies.
Un ristorante immerso nella natura, con personale cordiale e preparato. Il cibo è ottimo.
I piatti assaggiati erano davvero tutti buoni anche se x alcuni mini assaggi dell’ antipasto mi aspettavo dei sapori più sublimi…. Nell’insieme abbiamo mangiato bene. Il filetto al Chianti e’ molto buono. La location dal lato esterno della terrazza e’ bellissima con tutto il panorama il ristorante interno e’ molto elegante mi è piaciuto tanto. Non mi è piaciuta L’ entrata dal bar mi sembrava di stare davvero in un bar e non in un ristorante.
