The staff were friendly and although the menu was simple, the food was pleasant and reasonably priced. We particularly liked the chips. Helpfully, the staff bought the children's meals out as soon as they were ready, so the kids didn't have to wait very long.
I was waiting for the bank to open in Periers so decided to have a spot of lunch. La Brasserie looked inviting and there were several locals already eating there. The service was quick and pleasant. A young lady called Amanda served me who was English and spoke fluent French. The young waiter was very attentive too and had a welcoming smile. The food was good value and cooked well, I chose the plat du jour. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable and I will definitely return. I will try having dinner here with my husband next time.
Great place and a warm welcome for cyclists. Simple grub but very tasty. parked bikes up outside and the let us have a nice slow lunch (we were exhausted at the time!)
A warm welcome by the owners , pleasant surroundings and a simple no fuss menu , printed in both French and English .. Service was very fast , meal was well presented and full of flavour , hostess was very pleasant and attentive ... Desert ( chocolate cake) was to die for yum !! .A very nice Resturaunt, lovely atmosphere , great food and very reasonably priced - on my list of great places to eat
Without a doubt THE worst meal I have eaten in France...steak wasn't seasoned and was grey!...the frittes were greasy and soggy...I soon realised why we were the only people eating there. Be nice to yourself...go get a kebab!!!!!
