Next to us with a table with 26 people celebrating maybe a birthday ? But the food is still excellent, the staff very friendly, quick service, lots to eat. No card so you eat what they offer and everything is delicious. We managed to limit our intake and stopped after 6 courses and dessert. An ultimate Italian experience. I paid 100 euros for 4 people.
Food is appalling and staff are in attentive and unprofessional. Service is poor and the food was not what we expected at all. Would advise anyone to walk on past
I live down the road from Perletto and have been to this super family restaurant about ten times and have never been disappointed. There is no menu so you get brought different dishes to eat, normally about ten courses! All served by a waitress at your table. On a Sunday this place is packed with well over 100 people eating a slow family lunch over a few hours. The food is traditional Piemontese so if you really want to explore a whole range of Piemontese dishes this is the place to come. In the summer book a table outside there aren't stunning views but it is a more intimate setting than indoors which is heaving. This is where all my local Italian friends go for special Sunday lunches for Birthdays and anniversaries and there are always at least two Happy Birthday songs sung with accompanying cake which I guess you order in advance! The wine list is excellent value and I haven't ever paid more than 60 euros max for 2 people that is 10 course and wine! Outstanding value. You do need to book and I don't think they have a website so call +39 0173 832255 While in Perletto there is a fabulous winery nearby called Roccasanta which is also worth a pre or post lunch wine tasting visit they even make a Barolo there from a patch of land they own in Barolo.
I was there with 4 Australian friends and one Dutch friend. It is a big place with lots of tables. My only concern was that my chair after one hour became very uncomfortable and that the acoustics of the place made conversation very hard. It needs more curtains, a rug maybe, or a couple of rugs. But the food is excellent. A constant stream of delicacies. I was warned not to accept all the food offered. One becomes very full, too full maybe after the first hour. We were there for 4 hours in total. For a vegetarian, like me, this is not the best place although they made some excellent vegetarian food for me. Very friendly staff. The menu is the same for everybody, fixed price including wine, mineral water, dessert and coffee 26 euros.
We ate here recently and I have only one thing to say about the food...amazing. I can safely say I have never eaten such good food. I will definitely be returning next time I'm in the neighbourhood.
