Excellent varied menu authentic tapas, all reusable. faster, friendly service. a very pleasant experience. highly recommended
Wonderful place for a solo traveler or a group. This is a fun restaurant with outdoor seating and a nice bar and indoor dinning. There is a good selection of typical Spanish tapas, salads and paella for reasonable prices: 3 to 12 euros. The waitress...is charming and fluent in many languages. The service is slow but if you are on vacation, just enjoy the atmosphere and anticipate the good food that will arrive. It is prepared fresh for you so,waiting is not a bad thing! I really liked the Ovalie beer and they make a good cup of coffee too. It can be hard for a solo traveler to find just the right place to hang out. This was it for me. They are open late and have good wifi. The food is good and the atmosphere is very nice. I will certainly go back again.
Sometimes it is any port in a storm ... We stumbled on this place just before closing time, with 8 hungry people in our group. Don 't be put off by the negative reviews: this place has many things going for it. It 's well priced, the food...arrives quickly, it 's tasty and enjoyable. We had tapas, meat dishes and paella.
We stopped off at Artapas for lunch on Sunday and left feeling it was only ok. It does have its good points; the outside seating, extensive menu and excellent young waiter. It 's not badly priced either. But, and most importantly, the food is just average....We ordered four tapas Spanish omelet (decent ' whitebait (obviously pre prepared and cold , tomato with manchago cheese (ok and chicken fritters (again ok . We are heading over the border into Spain next and I will be amazed and disappointed if the same dishes there aren 't infinitely better.
