The menu offers a variety of options, including a "fish of the day" based on availability. I enjoyed a fantastic piece of halibut served on a flavorful smoky risotto with chorizo and samphire. The dish was cooked perfectly. My wife ordered the haddock and chips, which may have sounded basic, but the haddock was exceptional with a light crispy batter and delicious mushy peas on the side. We complemented our meal with a nice bottle of Tempranillo. The service was friendly and efficient.
My husband and I went to this restaurant on a Saturday night with another couple. We started with gin and tonics before our meals and each enjoyed two courses followed by sharing a cheese board. The atmosphere was nice, but could be improved with better lighting to lower the high ceiling in the former church space. The service was a bit hit or miss, with a great older server and a functional younger server. Unfortunately, my glass of wine ordered for my main course never arrived before I had finished eating. The food was tasty and reasonably priced, making it a place I would consider returning to.
We had a nice meal in little’s, service was great and the menu was amazing. although classified as a fish restaurant, there was a great choice. great eating, great setting and would recommend.
This is our second visit in blairgowrie and visit in littles. if they enjoy fish, the place is. we started with the tinted rings and olive-epper, then he had white-ebait charges of them and delicious I chose cod dishes... from the tapas menu, which were superb, light and crisp and very good, we had both turbot to follow on a bed of picking and serving him, it was a game we were pretty nasty and he had a pudding and I had the beeboard, he didn't let me taste his pudding and I can't remember what it was, but the bees were an excellent choice with home made heep cake and chutney plus some apple slices and rob. I had a very tasty pinot grigio, and he had a few soft beers. the whole meal was nicely cooked, the service was excellent, and I have no doubt that we again visited our next visit in blairgowrie.
Originally very surprised that the lights were so bright that it ruined any chance of a beautiful atmosphere in a beautiful building. After we had set ourselves, we waited almost minutes before the waiter wanted to take our drinks. I'm not sure what he had to check or why he had to check before we ordered, because it was very quiet. he disappeared and a waitress appeared shortly after and took our job. our appetizers appeared immediately. my squid was treated in what can only be described as flour and water paste that was fried. it was very bland. my friend had the scallops that were good. the main thing was not great. my crispy halibut was tiny and the chips were really terrible. think about soggy palid school dinner chips. the beingeschirr of chard was beautiful, but overall the meal was bad. the cod curry of my friend with rice looked like a teller dog sick and had a massive bone in him, which was unexpected and she would not have chosen it if she had known it so. I've been closing with her. it tasted okay, but looked grim. the service was terrible with taking off the cat who brought the drinks that was very efficient. but he did not take the drinks orders, so we sat drinking water for half time. it's such a shame because it could be really good. sort out the lighting. they lose the gray pink walls and develop a certain content together with the waiting staff. they were all friendly, but not very good at selling food and drinks. on the plus side the fish was very fresh and it is very cheap.
