Pegasus - Perth Kinross

Came over from Belfast for a weeks break. Boat delayed getting on and off near 3 hours ate into the journey. Stopped off here on the way to Dundee for something to eat. Was greeted by the staff about being from Belfast and felt right at home. Wee lad needed the toilet and the staff let him use theirs and couldn't have been more helpful. The kebab on chip was bang on. Lovely Donor meat lovely chips and fresh salad. Will definitely visit here again next time I'm over.

Food is great. Was delivered in time. Very fulfilling and freshly prepared.

AVOID….. READ MY REVIEW One of the worst kebab shops I’ve tried anywhere in the Uk…. The staff were impolite, struggled to understand our orders despite repeatedly explaining what we wanted, then tried to overcharge us the prices on the menu. One lad asked for a pepperoni 10 inch pizza with mushrooms on. They tried to charge him for a 12 inch extra £2 on top to add a few slices of mushroom… he said the pizza was very dry, they hardly put any sauce or topping on it. One of the other lads asked for Donna meat n chips, the man very awkwardly plainly rude to him telling him he either ordered Donna and chips meal where he would get a small portion, or pay a good deal more for a large portion of each…. I ordered a chicken kebab wrap with cheese and chilli, costing £8.99. When it arrived it looked massive… when I unwrapped it it was cold, the wrap was a undercooked naan there was a fresh spit of chicken kebab right in front of me, yet the chicken I was served wasn’t even hot enough to start melting the cheese…. Clearly shaved from spit hours before… and there was no chilli in the wrap. I managed 3 bites before it was too dry and I had to go elsewhere to eat. I am always honest and fair in my reviews and on this occasion I’m sorry to say AVOID. I got the feeling they were trying to rinse every penny out of customers possible whilst providing the worst quality food legally allowed. A1 pizza across the road provided us with forks that this place didn’t even have come on surely every takeaway should have a fork available. Definitely NEVER GO HERE

On a wild wet evening, while other take aways sat awaiting confirmation then turning away custom and stopping taking orders. In swoops the Pegasus, it ain 't fine dinning, but if you want a pile of hot food, delivered fast give it a shot, chips cheese and donner with a side of onion rings fills a belly well.

I have been going to Pegasus for years my family I just love it!! I think that we have now tasted everything on the menu!!The food is always fresh nearly everything is homemade.The doner meat is gorgeous is made on the premises.The shish shashlik is to die for my personal favourite, the pizzas calazones are always a favourite with the family as is the chilli garlic sauces! I can't recommend the food enough the service. The only thing I've had a problem with is the delivery time, sometimes you have to wait quite a while, but in saying that, when it does arrive, the food is piping hot!Definitely the best kebab shop in Perth!! Our family loves it!!!
