Laksa and the fired noodles are all good and delicious. And I tried the Bak Kut Teh this time and not disappointed either. Very nice slow cooked pork rib, whole brunch of garlic, some pork cubes and herbs. This dark soup version of Bak Kut Teh is really traditional and classic. Will definitely be back !
A small restaurant located close to the Innaloo shopping hub, yet outside the shopping centre itself, this is a handy place to go for a quick hawker meal. We have found that for lunch it is best to go at about 11.30 before the place gets packed out as it is a small busy restaurant. We usually pick one of the lunchtime specials with a choice of drink. We are always pleased by the efficient service and friendly wait-staff, and the owner has always been around when we have dined there. The restaurant has a Eastern Malaysia (Sabah-Sarawak) flavour and decor. It is closed on Wednesdays.
We went out of our way to try this place because someone recommended it. The food when it was eventually served was nice but nothing outstanding. The wait was substantial (it was Saturday lunch) and uncomfortable as the door couldn't be shut properly and we froze waiting to be served.
Good eat at good prices. There are not many Malaysian hawker foods around this northern region of Perth. The food is good though not highly authentic. All the food are well priced. There is Fried Kway Teow, Foo Chow Mee, Nasi Lemak, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Hor Fun Egg Sauce, Wonton Noodles, BBQ Pork Ric, Kolo Mee & much much more. Service is fast. Dining are is tight but the deco is still up to scratch.
Reasonably priced, they don't skimp on meat and veg for the price, service is quick and fast. Food is tasty too. Definitely recommend for a relaxed unfussy cheap Chinese meal.
