Walked in, got seated by a waitress. Sat at the table waiting to get served for half an hour then walked out. Also it was a Monday night so not even busy enough to warrant the lack of service
Four of us had dinner here early on a Monday night. We have been here before and really enjoyed it, however not so much this time. The entrees were the best dishes served up all night , stuffed squid was crisp fresh and tasty as was the duck San chow boy . The mains all served were average, the special fried rice was tasteless , the combination noodles were not that fresh and again lacked in flavour. Our favourite normally is honey prawns, but this time they were dry and over cooked . The mixed vegetable in curry sauce had a strange taste to it and wasn't hardly touched . We left disappointed, and for the price we were charged felt it was not worth it at all .
This used to be our favourite pho restaurant but not anymore. We took my sister and her husband here who were over from America with their two kids. After raving about how quick the service was we decided to go. I brought my two kids too. We ordered our pho and two serves of spring rolls and waited...and waited...and waited...and waited..... for AN HOUR! At the 45 minute mark (by now the kids were climbing up the walls) we asked the waitress to check in our order. Without any explanation or apology she answered "it's coming". Finally the spring rolls arrived an hour and five minutes after we ordered. We each got one which took less than 5 minutes to eat. Then the wait started for the pho..... again, we waited... and waited...and waited. The kids were amazingly patient but the wheels were starting to come off big time. "When's our food coming, mummy?", "I'm soooooooo hungry!", "can we go and buy a snaaaaack?" Etc etc etc. 15 minutes later much to eveyone's relief our pho arrived. Yes it was yummy, but by then we were all a bit too p*ssed off and stressed to enjoy it. Again there was no apology from the waitstaff for what ended up being a one hour and twenty minute wait for some soup. Very, very poor to say the least. When we went to pay, there was no acknowledgement from the manager about the delay so we decided to make a complaint that the wait time was unacceptable. She shrugged and said that if we'd got our order in before another table it wouldn't have taken so long as the other table was big (12 people). Riiiiiiight... so basically it was our fault. All I can say is please don't go here!!!!
