Mela Indian Sweets and Eats - Perth

This restaurant always delivers delicious meals consistently. Their flamed grilled kebabs are the best. The staff is always attentive and accommodating, going the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. The meat is always perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Thanks as always!

I was impressed during my last visit to Mela about 6 months ago with the quality of the food and the newly renovated dining room. My expectations were exceeded once again during my latest lunch outing. Located at the upper end of William Street, across from the Perth Mosque, Mela offers a diverse menu of Northern and Southern Indian dishes that caters to all lovers of Indian cuisine.

6 of dined in, all pretty much the Thalis for dinner. Good portions and was pretty tasty, though the spice level could’ve been kicked up a few notches. Thali prices are slightly higher than expected, but still worth a try. Desserts and sweet treats on the display are gorgeous. Kheer came as part of the thali and it was fabulous. Would visit again. Service was lovely, we were a noisy bunch and they were really accommodating.

Love this place! Some of my faves are the masala dosa, vegetarian thali, weekend chaat, chicken 65, biriyani, masala tea, samosas and sweets. Highly recommended!

Mela can be describe as a decent Indian restaurant with adequate portion size for the price and location of the business. The non veg thali is good value and the dosai are excellent The management need to focus on the training of staffs such as sequence of service
