Feedback gevenWe dined on a Friday, so booked: two families of five adults five bambini. We were welcomed with a sparkling white FOC). I thought that I had made a mistake, not ordering Fiorentina al tagliere, the choice of our Venetian friends, until the dish my wife and I ordered Lo chateaubriand in crosta do sale e vellutata al tartufo arrived. It was sublime: I can’t bring to mind, immediately, a better truffled or beef dish. The Fiorentina €60: to share) and the Chateaubriand €20) were carved at the table and presented to us expertly, simply. The wine was local, red, perfectly adequate; I didn’t see the wine list. The puddings €6) were excellent. For the sake of completeness, the bambini and an adult) enjoyed Costolette di agnello €18), pizza Diavola €7) and Regina €8) and Tournedos di mongana €18): there were no complaints! The chef trained locally a credit to Perugia but had worked internationally. IPC was recommended but the quality of its cuisine was an unexpected delight. The only carping criticism I could find was that a waiter began to clear before everyone had finished.
This restaurant was a fantastic find. Definitely one of the best in the area of Perugia. All the food was fantastic but I would definitely recommend any of the steaks. They were really tasty and plentiful. There was a great variety of food on offer, something to suit everyone. The staff were really helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend having one of the desserts, they were delicious.
Fantastic value for the money. Delicious food and generous portions. Recommended if you're searching a place where to taste some local dishes and do not worry about your wallet. There's a lot of choice for vegetarians too
