However, I feel Annie1 should have a full local staff team instead of how they run a full foreigner staff concept which doesn't justify the local experience. But I guess, its all good in the end. And the pay-at-the-counter concept should be abolished, because its a restaurant, not a food court. Again, this place is highly recommended if you're craving for some good Ipoh-styled hawker food. My fav here is always the Chee Cheong Fun, and I know it can be better. Edit: visited again in May 2022, ordered curry chicken rice and Char siew egg foo yong rice. Very interesting taste and nice.
Always very crowded. Their wantan mee and soup noodle are good. Nothing special but familiar to kids. Good place for family with kids. Since each portion is small, adult can eat two dishes.
Not a bad place for some quick bites. The wan tan mee with charsiu is pretty good. Decent portion for the price, however the pricing recently inflated. Soup was tasty. Drinks were good. Service was quick. It can get very crowded during peak hours.
On Sunday we waited 35 minutes to get our noodles! Place was crowded too. Noodles were nice but waiting time too long.
Ordered plenty of foods here The Char siew is perfect for sure, kids love it very much. The Wonton in soup is also nice, but felt like this time the white pepper is too much I guess? First time ordered this Curry Chu Cheong Fun, not at my expectation of taste .still got room for improvement. The spicy pork noodle not bad, not too spicy. Kids can take it also. The butter/Kaya toast is simple and nice to go. Went there bout 9am weekends, quite crowded. Q-up for awhile for seats
