Food court environment, but nice as compared with restaurant. can try
This place has beautiful vegetarian / vegan food. affordable prices. in a food dish.
Chef wong takes a small stall in a small court through the department 17 apartments (closed to the rothmans intersection, not the Islamic university). what they do not have in flash is more than balanced by the great food, generous portions and reasonable prices. I love their super tasteful asam laksa (round reisnudel in tangy tamarinden fish broth with mosquito fish stripes, juicy gurkens and pineapple and garnished with fresh chilis and mint). this is the best version I had in the city. another favorite is the Hainanese chicken rice. the soy chicken replicates the taste and the texture of the conventional version very accurately. also her char siu (bbq pork) is good. the rice is cooked in a tasteful broth, certainly a slice above the pure white rice, which is usually used on other places. I ordered the llor mee (noodle in a wee sauce) from my friends and it is also delicious. from her a la carte dresses I had the excellent paku belacan (from in spicy imitation garnel paste) and swarm in edgy sauce, the only medium plate I had here so far. all their meals come with free suppe, in which a light wintermelon broth. remember that they are closed on Wednesday and Thursday. on their working days they close between 15:00 o'clock. most dishes are vegan, so there are many ways to choose from. simply ask the personal that contains dishes. this place is a jewel, so go support them!
