Pink Owl Coffee - Petaluma

Cold brew was fantastic here. The morning pick me up I needed.

I used to support Pink Owl despite the fact their coffee is mediocre at best. I recently was involved in serving them with legal documents from my cousin’s girlfriend’s small bagel business who they not only ripped off for $1,000 but who they continuously misled, lied to and deceived to avoid payment. Prior to this I had attempted to address the matter with one of the owners (Saandra Bowlus) who told me there were probably many merchants they were behind with and they were doing their best to catch up. The matter was never taken care and even when I handed one of the owners (Joe Carlo) the small claims paperwork he insisted I had the wrong business. If these people are going around ripping off young women’s small businesses, I guarantee they are not upholding their claims of supporting breast cancer with donations from their profits. They are liars and frankly do not deserve your support when there is far better coffee around. We plan to picket and warn any to-be customers to go elsewhere until payment is made.

The two people working today (they had blue hair and amazing curly hair! were so nice. Just stopped by on a whim after whole foods, and my coffee is super good (which is hard to find, I'm not easy to please when it comes to latte quality and they encouraged me to try something fun. During COVID (2021? I came in once when masking became optional and was discouraged by the lack of masks (especially for somewhere benefitting cancer patients, who can be immunocompromised , but after my experience today I'll keep coming back. I have been trying to order from this restaurant for the past month. Anytime I place an order on doordash it is immediately cancelled leaving me with two options. 1. wait 3 days for a refund or 2. accept doordash credits. I’m sure you are aware that the hardest part for a restaurants survival is when they first open their doors because first impressions are everything. My first impression is you’re either completely unorganized or lazy.

A great coffee shop. Plenty of seating, electrical outlets, friendly staff, and delicious drinks. I like that they had reading material. My partner said that her latte was not mixed well but it tasted good. Arrived on a Thursday around 11am, they had parking available. It is also next to a whole foods market.
