Trattoria Roma - Petaluma

So many great things to say…. The service was great, the food was exceptional! If you want yummy, real, authentic Italian food, then you need to come here!

Found this gem of an Italian restaurant while on business in Fort Worth this past week. The food was outstanding. I requested something not quite on the menu and they made it perfectly! A spicy vodka tomato cream sauce with penne pasta. Also ordered their house salad with incredibly fresh romaine, a rich, sweet balsamic glaze and crisp purple onions. They also brought fresh baked bread with a pesto olive oil dipping sauce. They don't serve wine at the restaurant but do allow you to bring wine. I stopped at Total Wine and More which is only a few miles away and picked up a Reserve Chianti. Service was friendly and attentive. Pro tip, Roma is open on Mondays!

Had a nice dinner, service was good, and the meal was decent.Appreciated the decent portion size of the sides that came with the salmon entree in lemon sauce (mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables). I was hoping to be impressed with amazing flavors, but the dishes were generic and basic.

This is one of our favorite local restaurants. Service is impeccable and food is always well prepared and served promptly. Only issue is that the tables are way too close and cramped together. We had to move our chairs many times to allow wait staff to get to the adjacent table. Staff was very apologetic and also shared their frustration with the layout.
