When I saw the Quesada sign in the rear view mirror, like a beacon in a storm. The staff was helpful, and very patient with my shy kids. The food was fresh and tasty... Our first visit and it was extremely positive. The only complaint was that I ordered a burrito and received a quesadilla... How that happened, I don't know.. But it was a tasty mistake!
This place gave me food poisoning. There is a very limited selection of meat, and their high prices aren't worth it either. Avoid it if you can.
Taco Tuesday is delicious with lots of great options for filling (veggies, meat, etc). Burritos are good value and delicious!
There are several tables and a counter with bar stools. It would appear that take-out is a major target market. This is a Canadian franchise operation so standards will be well-controlled. We opted to sit at one of the tables and found the general ambiance comfortable if somewhat spartan. Selections were wrapped in paper and served in plastic serving trays - quite serviceable in a diner sort of atmosphere. The menu is not large but covers most of the Mexican or Southwestern favourites, in a selection of options and in multiple sizes where appropriate. The service was as fast as is possible in a venue where the customer basically gets to custom-build his/her order. Quite satisfactory and the ingredients were fresh and appealing. The server offered that most of their ingredients are prepared on the premises daily - and that's how it tasted. My spouse had a steak quesadilla ($8.99) that was well-filled, generously sized and excellent quality. Note - no coffee but a range of soft drinks from a fountain bar. I had a "Regular" size Spicy Chicken burrito ($6.99) which was nicely spiced and excellent quality. I asked the server how he could get the tortilla around a "Large" or "Big A*s*s" (their menu term lacks the stars but Tripadvisor refuses to take any term that appears profane) size and he told me that the three sizes use a 10 inch, 12 inch or 14 inch tortilla to handle the size. My "Regular" was big enough that I wouldn't dare try the challenge of a "Big A*s*s" 14 inch serving. Taste was great, with fresh everything. We both had guacamole added to our ingredients for 75 cents extra each. The menu includes such standards as a tortilla salad in an edible tortilla bowl available in seven different filling options or a burrito bowl in the same seven options but available in two sizes. Also nachos, chips & salsa (4 flavours), An interesting note is that all items show their calorie count on the menu. The rating would a bit higher if the general ambience was little more upscale.
Visited Quesada for the first time and well.. I was definitely not as impressed as everyone had made the hype to be. I found the service extremely slow, as there was only one person working.. the salsa was tasteless and as I had the quesadilla I found it extremely greasy and the messiest quesadilla I have ever had & it was not loaded with ingredients. I will say it is cool that you can choose your own ingredients that go into any food item that you order, but I overall was not impressed with the final outcome. I unfortunately will not be back.
