Chinese Chef - Peterborough

Absolutely disgusting they took 2 hours and it still didnt arrive and they said it was coming even updated the time! it's now gone midnight and myself and my partner have no food and we just moved into a new property !!! shockinng do not order it seems common from just eat reviews!!!

We ordered a takeaway on an evening night. It was delivered within the time slot and arrived not. Food was fresh and delicious. Best Chinese takeaway we’ve had in Peterborough so far! I’d recommend the black bean tofu especially.

First time using this takeaway, I wont be using them again. Food arrived late, was cold and an item missing. When phoned to complain they only offered to sent the item out again....bit late as would have eaten the food by then. No refund offered.

I am vegetarian and there was nothing specific I wanted listed on the menu (takeaway). I asked if they would substitute a meat menu for 1, for vegetarian choices. This was done without question and with suggestions for veggie alternatives. The service was very friendly, delivered within half hour and the food extremely good. I will be ordering from them next time I want a chinese.

After our local Chinese went down 'under new management ' we decided to start trying other Peterborough Chinese Takeaways. We 've been to the Chinese Chef in Woodston a few times now and I just wanted to say that they do what they do really well. Catch them on a bad night and its good catch them on a good night and it is pukka. I really like their cooking style. They also do other asian cuisne, thai etc. The crispy Japanese dumplings are really tasty.
