On Sunday, March 26, 2023, I returned with two friends, and since we were hungry, we noticed they were offering 20% off all roast dinners, so we decided to try the beef. One of my friends added extra pigs in blankets to her order. Unfortunately, they were out of Pepsi, so my friend wasn't charged for her drinks. We waited about 10-15 minutes for our meals, but what a disappointment it turned out to be! The Yorkshire pudding was nice, but the vegetables weren’t hot and were mushy. The roast potatoes looked like they came from the freezer. The stuffing balls were rock hard—definitely a hazard for anyone with dental issues! The meat was chewy and only two thin slices were served. My friend complained that her carrots were soggy. The manager had recommended trying the roast dinner, but we both agreed we wouldn't order it again. It seems like the quality can vary depending on the time of day you visit. Having once worked as a chef, I know when a dish shouldn’t leave the kitchen due to its quality. I really think that the manager or servers should routinely check the temperature and quality of the food before it’s sent out. Overall, I was disappointed even with the 20% discount, as it felt like a waste of money that could have been spent on something else from the menu.

It's a lovely spot for drinks and a midweek meal. They offer some great deals during the week. There's parking available on the side, and the venue is easily accessible for wheelchair users. They also have outdoor seating with a beautiful view of the lake.

This is a fantastic pub with amazing food that is made even better by the excellent service! Megan, in particular, has been very attentive and friendly, and she always makes us feel welcome. This is customer service at its finest—many thanks!

Lovely pub with a fantastic atmosphere. Staff are always very friendly and welcoming, good beers and quality food. I'd highly recommend it to anyone and its family friendly and I have to say Sasha is so helpful
