Aqua Bistro - Peterborough

My wife and I were looking for a place for brunch in Peterborough, NH and came upon the Aqua Bistro. As we were looking at a menu posted in the window, an individual who was an obvious regular said you really need to go inside to taste the food . He was absolutely right!! We had a wonderful experience to say the least. The service was fast, friendly, and very professional. The atmosphere was welcoming and quite charming we had a table next to a window overlooking the river. And the food was outstanding. Our meal started with two of the most delicious home made muffins I 've ever tasted. My wife had the crab cake sandwich which was packed with lump crab meat perfectly seasoned, accompanied by fried potatoes and a small salad. I ordered the Aqua Bennies listed as the house specialty and it certainly was not your momma 's eggs Benedict! The dish was an incredible combination of gravlox, spinach, caramelized onions, and the customary poached eggs (that were done perfectly) over a potato gallette; this was topped with a delightful hollandaise sauce. A wonderful meal and a great experience (and thank you to the regular who advised us to go in and give the place a try)!!
