Hampton (brewers Fayre)

A nice afternoon with friend val. great service, value for money, friendly and helpful staff.

I will review properly once I have paid another visit to The Hampton. It was ok yesterday but to be fair it was Father's day and extremely busy. Staff were pleasant and friendly. They did their best to refill the hot breakfast selections but due to the queues what you had on your plate cooled quickly. The queue for toast was a no go for me anyway. However, I did have a hot breakfast selection and eventually some toast

Carvery meat was OK, but unimpressed with the rest of the options. Potatoes were over cooked, as were some of the vegetables. Some sides that I would have eaten were so low that I didn't really feel I could get a full portion. Had pudding too which was OK, but that was the best I could say about it. Upside, it was great to have a full sugar coke option on draft.

Went here today (24/07/2022) Thought it was a good choice for dinner as the kids could play and it was nice on previous visits. IT WAS DISGUSTING! Took 2 HOURS for our food to come. This was apparently due to lots of orders, however we were a group of 7 and there was pretty much no one else in! Once we asked and could hear the chef swearing and shouting. Was probably upset about having his cigarette break disturbed. When the food arrived it was disgusting! Could not eat my meal, my kids spat theirs out. One table waited longer. Got their food and then took one bite and walked out. This isn't the pubs fault really, but they had a family of travelers in todards the end of the meal and their kids were running RIOT! One even assaulted my wife. All in all a horrible experience. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I recently visited a brewery in Hampton and was greeted by cheerful and friendly staff. We quickly ordered drinks at the bar and were served efficiently. For food, I ordered a burger that was absolutely amazing, my daughter had the pizza which she loved, and my partner had the curry which he said was the best he's had in a pub. My daughter also enjoyed the soft games available. We definitely plan to return soon for another delicious meal. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.
