Carousel Restaurant - Peterborough

A fascinating all-you-can-eat restaurant situated in Peterborough.

We visited this restaurant for a family gathering of 18 people. The service was decent and the food was good. The kids especially enjoyed the buffet because they could pick what they liked. We decided to split the bill so that everyone could pay for their own meal.

This restaurant has a dreary atmosphere with old-fashioned decorations and below-average buffet offerings.

On our way out of Peterborough, we stopped for lunch at the Carousel....our first time in this restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with the service, the menu and the value. The owner/host was most pleasant and friendly and did chat with customers. Being new, we knew nothing of the buffet so before we left, she gave us a tour of the other room and the lunch buffet. She asked if we would be back and we said we certainly would return. Very nice experience.

Went here to try the home cooked buffet. The roast beef was amazing. The sauce on the meatballs would have been the highlight of the meal. It seems like most of the customers were over 60.
